With pond filtration systems being an ever changing market, it’s hard keep up to date and to knows what system will work for you.

Here at clear view ponds we have installed and maintained many systems old and new, and believe we have our finger firmly on the pulse.

The key factor to any pond is the filtration system, for the health and wellbeing of your fish and is also the way to obtain crystal clear water.

With all factors to consider there is a lot to think about. Clear view ponds can install and advise on the system that is right for you. Whether it is a submersible pump to a vortex and multi bay filter and UV light or airated bottom drain gravity fed to a sieve and bead filter to UV light. Also separate skimmer feeds, to protein skimmers sand filters, or Eazy Pods (bead filter).

We have experience with many other technologies, including ozone systems fluid bed filters and cartridge filters.

Remember that all types of systems can achieve good results and without large sums of money if designed correctly. System design depends on the level of maintenance required and the type of pond and not all filter system need not be complicated.

We have also used electronic blanket weed controllers and numerous treatments to help with pond maintenance and the dreaded blanket weed/ string algae.

Another aspect of filtering and pond building that we have had experience in is the veggie filter. It is easier to add the veggie filter at the design stage and we believe they are a good natural bonus to any pond.
